As per formula SOH CAH TOA,
[tex] Tan B = \frac{opposite}{adjacent} [/tex]
As per given values, angle B = 61
side b = 33.2
Putting the value back in formula
[tex] Tan 61 = \frac{33.2}{a} [/tex]
Putting the value of tan 61
[tex] 1.80 = \frac{33.2}{a} [/tex]
Multiplying a on both sides
[tex] a*1.80 = \frac{33.2}{a} * a [/tex]
a * 1.80 = 33.2
Dividing 1.80 in both sides
[tex] \frac{a*1.80}{1.80} = \frac{33.2}{1.80} [/tex]
a = 18.4 : Answer
