If all colonial states can rule themselves for a good reason is they can have their own rights.

-Personal law
-Preferred traditions
-Have different laws if other states didnt
On the bad side
-Currency wouldn't be the same in other states
-Laws can be ridiculously awful
-Other states could fight for power
