I believe your answer is C, 'It emphasizes that everyone is equal under the law.' The passage is basically saying that if you judge these people, you're only hurting yourself. If you point fingers at someone for something they do, don't be surprised when ten other fingers are pointing back at you. We're all equal. None of us are free of sin.
