Logical operators (AND, OR, XOR, and NOT).
If the data that is required to be filtered requires complex criteria, you can click on the Advanced Filter dialog box in the Data tab in Excel. Under the advanced dialog box is where you can use logical operators to specify the combination of filter criteria. When these logical operators’ arguments are evaluated, they return either true or false. For instance, the OR operator returns TRUE if any arguments evaluate to TRUE
