A. Wanted to preserve the culture of native American tribal groups.

B. Worked hard to prevent white settlers from moving onto Native American lands.

C. Frequently broken treaties that it made with Native Americans.

D. Established most Indian reservations on fertile land that was easy to farm.

The answer is C.

We were awful to the Natives, we broke treaties, put them on infertile land they were not used to farming on, made them adapt to our "western" ways, and took their land, without paying for it.
