Answer: concept of "Latin America" usually covers a vast area that starts in river Rio Grande (in the North, this river forms a natural border with the USA/Texas) and end in the extreme south in "Tierra del Fuego" (Argentina, Chile). Moreover sometimes concept of Latin America contains Carribean. Such a great area is of course very diverse. Reason of such a diversity is an enormous space that this concept is covering.

Explanation: - Andian countries (mountaineous countries like Peru, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia), - Cono Sur (Uruguay, Chile, Argentina and sometimes Paraguay), - so-called "Centroamérica" (countries in the Central America: Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala etc.),  etc etc. In these regions there is of course diverse climat. Some countries (Bolivia) have mountaineous part and lowlands as well.
