If anyone could help me with this puzzle that would be really appreciated!

To find the answer, you must first search in the darkness.
In it, you will find 6 pieces of a key attached to the ceiling.
You must connect the pieces together, but you find they are broken.
In the same room, you find a letter:

1/M - 2/O - 3/Z - 4/R - 5/S - 6/J - 7/X - 8/L - 9/B

Use these to fix the key.
Replace this areas key with the new key, and there you will find your answer.
(Not sure what to put it under so I did Art's because puzzle's and art's are similar?)
