Selecting the most effective strategy to engage and convert prospective customers is perhaps the most important decision you face in designing your company’s overall marketing program. The “push” strategy is the older and probably better known of the two basic marketing methods. This approach consist of most of the traditional mass media advertising channels such as newspaper and magazine adverts, direct mail and cold call telemarketing, radio and television commercials.

Pull marketing, on the other hand, is a more enlightened model that relies on consumer choice in actively seeking out information and products that will provide answers and solutions to everyday problems. A pull strategy focuses on sustaining a presence across a number of informational channels, primarily online, that consumers are likely to use to solve their problems. Typical pull channel strategies include ranking relevant content in the search engines, hosting webinars, and regular posting to social media networks.

The push strategy will help establish brand awareness among those consumers who may have never heard of you. I believe the Push strategy I believe is the better type of marketing strategy.

Answer / Explanation:

1) The appearance of the menu is what sometimes persuade the potential customer to want to explore his taste bus. This is what mostly underline the standard of the kitchen.

2) The most important aspect of internet marketing are your target audience and your reviews (feedback)

Target audience: To start an internet marketing in the first place, you must have a target audience. That is the set of people you are hoping to pass your information to.

Review: This is a continuum of the first part which is target audience. Once you have successfully passed across your message in the form of marketing to your target audience, you will what to know what they think about it and to what level do they accept it. This comes back to you in the form of feed back or reviews.

3) A restaurant can combine both by having flyers along strategic corners of the restaurant where walk in customers can easily sight and pick them up. This in term is the traditional marketing wile also activating an online presence such as the ownership of a website to showcase its menu for instance. This is the modern marketing. This way, we have successfully combined both the traditional and modern marketing.

4) Depending on the nature of the review, however, let us assume the review is objective and negative. We will take the review in good faith, thank the res-ponder and act on it.

5) In my opinion, pull marketing is more effective because these way, you have bee able to streamline you customer to only the interested ones who obviously have a high tendency of purchasing your service or product.
