In my textbook it states that five basic needs of a biotic element are oxygen, water, food, energy, and suitable habitat. My question is are anaerobic organisms considered biotic or abiotic since they don't require oxygen?

Respuesta :

it's a really good question, but i believe that anaerobic organisms are still considered Biotic organism.

Biotic organism means that that organism is "alive" .Even without oxygen, anaerobic organisms still able to respirate and produce energy for their activities

hope this helps
