Ghana Military Government was ruled by The National Redemption Council(NRC).

The ruling time was from 13 January 1972 to 9 October 1975. The chairperson of this ruling party was I.K Acheampong who was head of the state of Ghana as well.

Explanation:

Acheampong has been brought the NRC. This party was democratically thrown by another party named the Progress Party. Dr. K. A Busia was the head of the Progress Party.

But that time Dr. Busia was in England for medical reasons and the party was overtaken by others. When it was taken by another one grievance happen that was related to the devaluation of the currency.

The NRC also takes over by Military Council in 1975. This composition was done by Acheampong who directly promoted himself from colonel to General.

In this process, many officers were promoted, some have changed their jobs and some officers have to leave their jobs.
