Miguel wishes to make a deposit. He has these bills: 5 ones, 4 fives, 2 tens, and 2 twenties. He has 4 nickels, 17 dimes, and 13 quarters. Miguel has checks for $35.75 and $64.75. Miguel wants to receive $40 in cash. What would he enter on the CURRENCY line?

You have a total of $90.15, 4×5=$20
2×10=$20, 2×20=$40. Total $85.00
4 nickles = 20 cent
17 dimes = $1.70
13 quaters = $3.25 give a total of $5.15
Add $85.00 + $5.15 = total $90.15

Then Miguel has checks of $35.75 + $64.75 = $100.50

So the question is Miguel wants to receive $40.00 in cash so instead of deposit the cash money he have of $90.15 he took $40.00 from that which give you the remain of $50.15 . So he will enter $50.15 in the currency line and $100.50 in the check line. Which will give him a total of $150.65 to deposit.
