Respuesta :

Answer:

A.

3(2x + 4) + 2(3x - 4)

6x + 12 + 6x - 8

12x + 4

B.

3 (10 + 4) + 2(15 - 4)

3 (14) + 2 (11)

42 + 22

64

C. for the first part, i combined all like terms until it was in simplist form. for the second part i replaced x with 5 and solved the problem using 5 instead.

Step-by-step explanation:

i hope this is right, if not sorry

A. 6x + 12 + 6x - 8
6x + 6x + 12 - 8
12x + 4

B. 3(2*5 + 4) + 2(3*5 - 4)
3(10 + 4) + 2(15 - 4)
30 + 12 + 30 - 8
= 64

C. For the first one (part A) I distributed 3 and 2 to everything that was in the parentheses. Then I got 12x + 4 because you cant add them cause they don’t have like terms. For the second question (part B) I simply just replaced x with 5 and I solved the rest of the problem which got me to x = 64.

Hope this helps!
