A biome is best described as a major type of ecosystem with SYSTEMS OF HABITATS HAVING DIFFERING CLIMATES.
A biome refers to a naturally occurring community of plants and animals which occupy a particular habitat. There are different types of biomes and their classification depend on the prevailing climates in each biome and this in turn determines the types of animals, plants, soils, etc that will be found in the biome.  Examples of biomes are: deserts, rain forests, Savannah, temperate deciduous forests, grassland, tundra, etc.

Answer:

A biome can be defined as the major ecosystem with distinctive rainfall rainfall temperature and organism.

The biome can be defined as an ecosystem having different temperature and precipitation and based on that temperature and rate of precipitation , different kinds of organism live there.

Example: The desert biome has less precipitation and high temperature and the animals that live there have certain adaptations suited for desert.
