The Money that she lose at the end of 2 years :

  • [tex] \sf \: 2500 - x [/tex]

Loss percentage is equal to :

  • [tex] \sf \dfrac{2500 -x }{2500} \times 100 = 20[/tex]

  • [tex] \sf \dfrac{2500 - x}{25} = 20[/tex]

  • [tex]\sf2500 - x = 20 \times 25[/tex]

  • [tex]\sf2500 - x = 500[/tex]

  • [tex] \sf - x = 500 - 2500[/tex]

  • [tex]\sf - x = - 2000[/tex]

  • [tex]\sf x = 2000[/tex]

So, the money she end up getting after selling that hi-fi set is 2500, that is also the money She have at the end of the two years ~
