Choose one of the tribes you learned about in Tribal Sovereignty and write a 500 word essay (MLA style). Be sure to cite your sources (bibliography) and use your own words. It should have an introduction, body of the essay, and a conclusion. The introduction gives the reader a preview of what the essay will cover. The body of the essay will cover the main topics of the tribe that you want the reader to know. It could be their location, their talents, how did they exist, what happened to them today, etc... You decide on what is important to tell me about this tribe. Then the conclusion sums up your whole essay. I am looking forward to reading them.

The word sovereignty is very important in all spheres of life and the tribal population of the United States are in need of it as they want protection and also want to be seen as a tribal nations.

Tribal sovereignty is one that covers legal, cultural, traditional as well as other complex terms in regards to governance.

Note that Tribal Sovereignty is seen as the case or government where Indians are said to rule themselves and the proof of Tribal Sovereignty is seen in the treaties made with other tribes.
