Cyclones and Anti cyclones are associated with wind system and formed in tropical and sub-tropical region respectively.

Cyclones origin in tropical region and associated with low pressure system and emerges in both northern and southern hemisphere. Low pressure system in center and winds revolves around it.

Cyclones rotates anti clockwise in northern hemisphere and clockwise in southern hemisphere because of Coriolis effect.

Anticyclone origin in sub-tropical region and associated with high pressure systems. They rotate clockwise in northern hemisphere and anticlockwise in southern hemisphere.
