This is an image of a plant cell showing the organelles present. If we were to compare this cell to an animal cell, we would see something a bit different. Animal cells contain an organelle that helps form three important cellular structures: the centrosome, cilia, and flagella. What is this important organelle?

Respuesta :

The important organelle is the centriole. The centriole helps form the centrosome, cilia, and flagella.

The right answer is centrioles.

Some animal cells may have many centrioles, as in the case of ephiectal ciliated cells (especially in the pulmonary system) which have a pair of centrioles for each eyelash. In the animal cell, two centrioles are arranged perpendicularly, do not touch each other, and the whole, with the pericentriolar material, forms the centrosome which is always close to the nucleus and intervenes in cell division. On the other hand, in some cell types, the centriole migrates to the plasma membrane to start the formation of an eyelash or a flagellum. At the base of the eyelash or flagellum, the centriole is called the basal body.
