Before cottage factory were way different because of its work
If you're asking what is the difference between production in homes and production in factories in the Industrial Revolution. it is just simple, due to the recent innovation of inventors, it is now possible to mass manufacture materials and products, which led to the building of massive factories to accommodate the newfangled equipment. Cottage industry is mainly producing ONE product at a time, while factories can produce hundreds of material/product at a time. This led to the decrease of goods price, but led to public outrage due to massive unemployment because of cheaper price of the goods that factories offer than home-made goods. This, led to the less demand to home-made goods and led to the demise of the cottage industry. This is all I know about the topic. have a good day :)
