HDMI or what we called high definition multimedia interface is a computer port that communicates audio on and video without the requirement for compression from a HDMI amenable source video such as compatible computer monitor, display controller, digital television or digital audio device and video projector. It is an auxiliary for analog video criteria and implements EIA/CEA 861 standards which means video set-ups and waveforms conveyances of compressed, uncompressed and LPCM audio, auxiliary data and implementation of VESA EDID.
