As an american boy, one of the adjustments to the new environment in China is that one, he must know that China is not an English-speaking country. Chinese nationals do not speak his dialect which may be difficult in carrying out his daily activities with the nationals. As an America boy the adjustment that Dre did in China were:

  • He learnt how to communicate with the locals.
  • He learnt the culture there.
  • He also adjusted to the food in China.

The reason he had to adapt

This was from the movie Karate Kid. The reason he had to adapt was for him to get to know all that he needed to know about martial arts.

He was brought here by his master so that he would learn all that he needs to know.
