Flashbacks are very frequent when dealing with soldiers. The images of combat can haunt soldiers and veterans when in large groups of people. Paranoia also, they may also always think that someone may want to attack them

The PTSD or the post-traumatic stress disorder is also called shell shock, that is, trauma and stress associated disorder, which may arise after getting exposed to an event like severe harm, death, or violence. The traumatic incidents, which could probably instigate PTSD comprise natural and unnatural disasters, violent personal assaults, military combat, accidents, and others.  

The symptoms may comprise fear, flashback, and anxiety or mistrust psychologically, irritability, agitation, hypervigilance, hostility, social isolation or self-destruct behavior, guilt, possible insomnia, loss of pleasure or interest in activities, and loneliness of mood.
