How do the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system work together to control the body?

a. the direction that information flows to and from the brain
b. consists of the brain and spinal cord, process center for the entire nervous system, receives and sends messages to/from the peripheral nervous system
c. the peripheral nervous system takes in information from its surroundings both internally and externally and then sends that information to the central nervous which decides what to do with the info. The CNS then sends a signal back to the PNS indicating what action to take.
d. the sensory and motor neurons that connect the CNS to the rest of the body responsible for gathering sensory information to send to the CNS and initiating any action CNS says is important in response.
