To remove a hard contact lens without pinching it, tilt your head back, pull up your upper eyelid, and hold down your lower eyelid. Position your thumb and index finger on either side of the lens, look to the side, and blink gently but with pressure. Most of the time, at least for me, the lens will naturally slide out during the blink. If not, I think you might need to use a pinching motion to slide it off onto the white part of your eye, avoiding excessive pressure. I hope that helps. If you need more help, feel free to let me know as I wear contacts.
