A resistor's unit is in Ohms so we can scratch the other units that says otherwise (volts). Peep the word "resist" as in, it resists the current flow and changes the electrical energy to thermal energy (produces heat). It shows how well something can conduct current with its value of resistance. So Resistance is how well a material conducts an electrical charge and is measured in ohms.
