The two habitats found in a Praire ecosystem are the tallgrass and shortgrass ones. Praire ecosystem is made up of many grasses, wildflowers, and shrubs along with insects, birds and mammals all working together to make a very unique habitat. Additionally, this ecosystem is considered part of temperate grasslands, savanna, and shrublands biome by ecologists, due to similar moderate rainfall and also the composition of herbs, shrubs and grasses rather than trees

The habitat which are found in prairie ecosystem include;

1. Cover habitat.

2. Forage habitat.

3. Grassland habitat.

The organisms which are found in those habitat include;

1. Burrowing owls are being found in cover and forage.

2. Grizzly Bears are found in grassland habitat.
