Why do you think it took so long for women to get the vote in american society? why do you think the 19th amendment was eventually passed? compare/contrast this amendment to the 15th amendment. how are they similar and different? support your answer?
I feel it was because there was so many people against it and also men controlled women back then. They both gave rights to vote, but one was for African American men and the other was for females of all races.
