Calvin cycle is the second stage of photosynthesis process where NADPH and ATP are used to make glucose that act as food for the plants.
Calvin cycle comprises of 3 stages:
1. Carbon fixation
2. Reduction
3. Regeneration

The third step regeneration is characterized by the formation of RuBP which can be used in further reaction. If this step was missing in Calvin cycle then RuBP will not be formed and the first step would also not take place as it requires RuBP. At last no glucose could be formed without the third step of Calvin cycle.
