Not sure what you mean by Head of the comet, but I know the other 3 are apart og the comet, so I would have to say C.

Head  is not part of the structure of a comet.

The parts of comet are:-

  • Nucleus. The nucleus of a comet is also known as the core.
  • Coma. The spherical envelope of gas that surrounds a comet's nucleus is called a coma.
  • Hydrogen Cloud.
  • Dust Tail.
  • Ion Tail.

What is comet?

  • Comets are frozen leftovers from the formation of the solar system composed of dust, rock, and ices.
  • They range from a few miles to tens of miles wide, but as they orbit closer to the Sun, they heat up and spew gases and dust into a glowing head that can be larger than a planet.
  • A comet is an icy, small Solar System body that, when passing close to the Sun, warms and begins to release gases, a process that is called outgassing.
