Silver nitrate (AgNO3) is a colorless solution . when we add silver nitrate to dilute HCl we get a white precipitate of silver chloride But here as you employed a concentrated hydrochloric acid initially the precipitate of silver chloride is formed but it immediately dissolves in HCl leaving a colour less solution it all depends on the amount of HCl taken and amount of silver nitrate added to it if we add equimolar quantities of both we will get a clear solution if we add excess of silver nitrate we will get a small amount of white precipitate AgNO3(solution) + Conc.HCl ----------> AgCl(Solution) + HNO3 AgNO3 (excess) + Conc.HCl --------> AgCl(Small white ppt) + HNO3
