In this part of the story Odysseus take with him to the Cyclops' cave 12 men, there in the cave he finds that is full of cheese, lambs, bowls and pails for milking, his men advices him to leave the cave before the Cyclops return but he refuses to do it, when the Cyclops comes back sealed the entrance of the cave with a large slab of rock and they have to make all a plan to go out, this shows recklessness in his personality.

In The Odyssey the personality trait which Odysseus reveal when he ventures into the Cyclops's cave is;

This refers to the way a person behaves and acts which is usually genetically inherited.

With this in mind, we can see that King Odysseus enters the cave of the Cyclops with his men and even though he sees that there are lots of animals and evidence of a giant living there, Odysseus refuses to leave.
