The "Muckraker" journalists would have been likely to cover all of the following subjects except waste in the armed forces. These journalists attack corrupt corporations and leaders in politics, but attacking the army may not have been a good idea. They would most likely be labeled unpatriotic or traitors for reporting negative things about the armed forces. They may have been threatened as well.
