During the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries in england, the curriculum at schools like trinity college at cambridge (the college of the holy and undivided trinity) leaned very heavily on theology. today, the vast majority of university students will never take any theology classes. why did this change

Hello @Technodragonelr2466,

How are you doing this morning? Your answer would be something like this, "The knowledge, values, and expectations required to succeed in contemporary society are different from those required then." The requirements from today's schools are different than back then, so as you may imagine these schools have changed so much.

I hope this helped, and if not contact me!

Thank you,
Darian D.
