Indians would make there own fur goodies while fur trading companies would sell it for resources and money
Indian would trap animals for their skins and use them for their own gain. They would make handcrafted items in which they needed. On the other hand, fur trading companies wouldn't use the fur at all in most cases. after skinning and animal, the fur trading companies would immediately sell or trade these items for profit or gain of some kind.
