A circle is centered at (2, -5) and has radius 3. Write its equation in standard form. A) (x + 2)2 + (y - 5)2 = 3 B) (x - 2)2 + (y + 5)2 = 3 Eliminate C) (x + 2)2 + (y - 5)2 = 9 D) (x - 2)2 + (y + 5)2 = 9

Respuesta :

D.
[tex](x - h)^{2} + {(y - k)}^{2} = r^{2} [/tex]
Where (h, k) is the center of the circle and the radius is squared.
i think its D because the radius must be squares and 5 must be added because thats the same as subtracting a negative
