What could be used as evidence in proving someone was a witch?

B. Being related to someone who was a witch

Moles or marks on the body. I read this in a book sometime back in middle school. They would attach something to a persons body and try to drown them in a lake to see if water would reject them, because of marks/scars/moles on the body.
