Describe what causes hot air balloons to rise.

Describe the difference between weather and climate.

Compare the greenhouse effect versus global warming and some ways global warming is affecting our earth.

You are visiting the beach in the afternoon. How would you describe the temperature of the water versus the temperature of the land? Explain your answer.

Respuesta :

Hot air balloons rise because of the hot air from the fire released in the balloon. Hot air is lighter than cold air, therefore the balloon rises when the warm air displaces the cool air.

Weather is the temperature currently in an area. Climate is the temperature of an area over a period of time.

Greenhouse effect is when greenhouse gases form a thick layer on the atmosphere not allowing other greenhouse gases to escape the Earth, therefore warming up the Earth and eventually leading to climate change. Climate change is also an effect of global warming. This change effects the way and rate at which plants grow. As we know, plants clean the air but if there are less plants the air is dirtier and more polluted. This leads to more chance of becoming ill or dieing because of the unclean air.

The water would be cooler than the land because land heats up faster than water does.
