Domestic abuse is an example of intentional injury.  The person doing the abuse mean to hurt the other person.

The other two happen by "accident" unintentional.

Domestic abuse is always 100% an intentional injury. The abuser intended on causing the victim injury and harm.

A sports-related injury could be either unintentional - which would make it an accident, or intentional - if one player injured another on purpose for personal/team gain.

Choking on food is 100% an unintentional injury as it is an involuntary action and therefore an accident.
