In my opinion, the research question that provides the maximum scope for argumentation, and has several sides attached to be explored should be ideal for writing an essay that shall span to about four to five pages. In English, these questions are termed ‘Argumentative questions’, which can be addressed from both sides. Researchers are usually expected to explore both sides of an argument equally, or anyone's side can be picked after exploring the arguments of both of them. This topic has several interconnected themes that need to be studied, before taking a stand for any one argument, or to maintain a neutral stance.

Further Explanation:

An argumentative essay comprises four parts, an Introduction, which is aimed at drawing the attention of the reader to it, along with the presentation of the synopsis, background information that might give a reader an overview of the topic in question. The next part of the research paper consists of the arguments for the topic and against the topic. Any argumentative research essay is penned formulating upon any of the two models.  The Toulmin models and the Rogerian models are the most popular of them. The Toulmin model rests on the formulation of a theory, and the whole essay revolves around the justification of that theory. Usually, it is also supported by the interpretation of data, that helps the reader to formulate their own judgments.
