An exponent means that a number is multiplied itself a certain amount of times. In our case, 7/4 is multiplied by itself 11 times. We do not multiply by 11 but we multiply by 7/4 11 times.
As you can see, we are not dividing the numbers. Therefore A is not our answer.
We are not multiplying by 11. Therefore B is not correct.
7^11 is a very large number. When we divide 7/4 we get a smaller number with a decimal that will not lead to a huge number when multiplied by itself. 7^11/4 would still be an enormous number. The whole fraction is supposed to be multiplied by itself as well, not just 7. Therefore ,C will not work.
Finally we have D. Each part of the fraction is multiplied by itself 11 times. As both numbers are already multiplied by their exponent it will be the same. We will get two large numbers divided by each other which will equal a smaller number as the fraction multiplied multiplies to a number within 1,000. All of our other options are also incorrect. Therefore, D is the correct answer.
