The formula of surface area of cylinder is

[tex] A= 2 \pi r^2 + 2 \pi r h [/tex]

Substituting the values of A and r, we will get

[tex] 791.68 = 2* \pi * 9^2  + 2 * \pi * 9*h \\ 791.68 = 162 \pi + 18 \pi h \\ 791.68 -162 \pi = 18 \pi h \\ h = \frac{791.68 -162 \pi}{18 \pi} \\ h =5 units [/tex]

So the height of the cylinder is 5 units .
