It resulted in spread and preservation of knowledge because woodblock printing help to reproduce the religious text of Buddhism which traveled around China and other parts of the world in the form of Scriptures printed on the wooden block . However, Diamond Sutra was also most important Mahayana text which helped to spread knowledge about Buddhism Across China with the help of woodblock printing.
