A spherical marble with a radius of 1 cm. has a mass of 10 grams. What is the density of the marble?

Respuesta :

Density of any object of found by dividing its Mass by its Volume

So firstly we have to find the Volume

Volume of sphere = [tex] \frac{4}{3} \pi r^{2} [/tex]

where r is radius

So lets find the Volume

Volume of spherical marble = [tex] \frac{4}{3} \pi (1)^{2} [/tex]

= [tex] \frac{4}{3} \pi [/tex]

Now mass = 10 grams

So density = Mass/Volume = [tex] \frac{10}{\frac{4}{3} \pi}= \frac{30}{4\pi} [/tex] rho

≈2.39 rho
