Why it is problem
A major environmental concern related to nuclear power is the creation of radioactive wastes such as uranium mill tailings, spent (used) reactor fuel, and other radioactive wastes. These materials can remain radioactive and dangerous to human health for thousands of years.It is dangerously radioactive and has the potential to release a poisonous chemical element called plutonium into the environment. In fact, exposure to radioactive waste can cause cancerous growths in humans and genetic damage or mutation to animals and plants.It is one of foremost reason for the cancer in human life.
What is Nuclear Energy?
- The energy which is created either by fission or fusion of nuclei to produce the energy for the usages like generation of electricity.
- Nuclear of the two different atom get reacted and form a huge amount of energy.
- It is under control, If sustainable reactions occurring during this time interval is continuously observable and monitored. If continuously not observed and not monitored then it may chances of Nuclear Hazards and Blasts occurs, which is highly dangerous.
- The problem associated or occurred during the production or generation of Nuclear energy, which is that it releases the radioactive Waste
