Is there any danger that another star will come crashing through our solar system in the near future? explain?

Respuesta :

I think that it's not possible. Because from what I read before in some book, it says that our star(the sun) has its own orbit around our galaxy, the milky way. And that our galaxy, has its own orbit around our universe. It might not be possible for our sun to crash into another because what I read, every star has their own solar system.

No.  No danger, so don't worry. The NEAREST star outside the solar system is 4.3 light years away.  There are no closer stars.  Even if that one were moving toward us (it's not), in a straight line (it can't), at 1% of light speed (it can't), it wouldn't be here until 430 years from now.
