The correct answer is - 15.

A standard time zone extends 15 degrees east or west from the central meridian (Greenwich). This is very easy to be calculated. There's a total of 360 degrees, and we already know that there's 24 hours in one day, so we can just divide the 360 degrees with the number of 24 hours, and we get the result of 15 degrees per every hour, or rather per every time zone.

Even though this is how it should realistically be, having an hour zone on every 15 degrees, still, in practice it is not the case, and that is mostly due to the shapes and sizes of the countries.
