A long-distance relationship is harder because it would be harder to keep honest.

Long-distance relationships, in a way, are great! The thing is, they are harder to keep up.

In a regular relationship, you see each other more often, and thus get to know each other way better. It is easy to stay just with that one person. On the other side of this, the long-distance relationship might not last as long, and there is more of a possibility to go and be in a relationship with more than one person, or have another partner that the other doesn't know about.

This affects trust and self-esteem; when this happens to you, you are more likely to not trust future partners and have less confidence in yourself. It will be harder to stay in other relationships.

Now, if you can keep it up, you will more than likely have a great relationship! This is the upside to that.

I hope this helps you!
