One jet is flying east at 880 km/h,and another is traveling north at 880 km/h.Do they have the same velocity?the same speed?Explain

Respuesta :

Jet 1 is flying with speed 880 km/h towards EAST

so in vector form we can say

[tex]v_1 = 880 \hat i km/h[/tex]

jet 2 is flying with speed 880 km/h towards North

so in vector form we can say

[tex]v_2 = 880 \hat j km/h[/tex]

so in vector form we can see the two velocities are not same as the direction is different here

so we can say that in vector form two physical quantities are not same if the direction of two are different.

So here we can say that only magnitude is same

So they do not have same velocity but they both will have same speed.
