Cancer cells do not exhibit contact inhibition, lack specialization, have abnormal chromosomes and fail to undergo apoptosis. which of these is not a possible behavior that could help prevent cancer?

Respuesta :

Apoptosis is the prevention of programmed cell death. One of the most defining factor of a cancerous cell is the programmed cell death. As uncontrolled growth of cell is known as cancer. The conditions like contact inhibition, lack specialization and abnormal chromosomes might or might not transform normal cells into oncogenes but apoptosis will only lead to formation of cancerous cells. The characteristic feature of cancerous cell is to evade the process of apoptosis. The cells that fails to undergo apoptosis will definitely be converted into cancerous cells.
