B. The Bicuspid Valve.

Heart sounds are monitored by using a stethoscope. The characteristic lubb-dupp that the heart makes is due to the closing of the two sets of valves. The “lubb” is due to closing of the atrioventricular vales, and the “dupp” is due to the closing of the semilunar valves.
