A 72.0-kg skydiver is falling at a terminal velocity of 79.0 m/s. Which equation should be used to calculate the diver’s kinetic energy? E = mc2 ME = KE + PE PE = mgh KE = ½mv2

The equation used to calculate the kinetic energy of any object is

KE = ½mv² .

It doesn't matter whether the object is alive or not, male or female, rising or falling, Democrat or Republican, at terminal velocity or accelerating.  Just as long as it's moving, that equation works.
